Field Engineers

The Klean Industries field engineer rapidly learns the industry and will be exposed to all areas of our business---not just his/her degreed area of expertise. It is a hands-on position where the engineer gains invaluable experience and skills on a variety of projects to be applied throughout a career with Klean Industries. Typical responsibilities include:

  • Study Klean Industries and vendor drawings and documents to become familiar with both the intricate details and the project as a whole.
  • Assist the construction superintendent and project manager in managing, supervising, and tracking the schedules of subcontractors and vendors working onsite.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
  • Interface with design engineers at the office to provide solutions to problems in the field.
  • Assist in the start-up and initial operation of projects.
  • Assist the construction superintendent in ensuring that the final product produced by Klean Industries and our subcontractors is a quality product in full compliance with all contractual obligations, applicable codes, and customer regulations.
Applicants should have a BS in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil (Structural) engineering with 0-3 years experience and should be willing to travel extensively the first 3 years. AutoCAD and industrial construction experience is a plus. Steam and Power experience (Boilers, turbines, IC) is a big plus.
